Earlier in the week, I was involved in a conversation about user personas and whether they are applicable in online learning. Having seen how effective they are in UX design, I have long thought that they had a place in e-learning. It is so important to understand your audience and their needs, personas are one tool to help you do that.

So for this week’s #write52 I have put together a quick guide to user personas – what they are, why we should use them, how to create them, and how to use them.

Feel free to download and distribute. A PDF is uploaded on my ‘Resources’ page here.
